We are proud to introduce Ecole Hoteliere Lavasa, a private autonomous institute with a vision to be a leader in hospitality management education in Asia. The first step towards this vision is receiving academic certification from Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, the world’s oldest and most reputed hospitality management school. We have been fortunate to have access to their unique pedagogic philosophy, a system that will help us create well-rounded hospitality professionals.

Our faculty members are trained at Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne as ‘Qualified Learning Facilitators’. The approach here is andragogy, where the emphasis is on eliciting and engaging with the student to help him or her discover and generate knowledge rather than be taught it. As the students mature, the learning methodology moves towards epistemology where the students bring in their own creativity for knowledge creation.

We believe that Ecole Hoteliere Lavasa will add new dimensions to hospitality management education in India. We aim to be a multicultural school where students of several nationalities can come together to learn, innovate and become entrepreneurs and leaders for the future of hospitality in Asia.
