In my conversations with senior hoteliers, I often encounter lives that are full of intriguing anecdotes, and rich and diverse experiences. From its humble beginning, the industry has come a long way to become one of the most exciting and promising career options today.

Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, the first hospitality school in the world, has been at the forefront of educating hospitality professionals worldwide. Therefore supporting the development of new hospitality education institutions across continents is a significant part of our mission. Ecole Hoteliere Lavasa, is one such attempt to partner with an important Indian industry player, Lavasa Corporation Limited, in creating an avenue for quality hospitality education within the region. We believe this institution will fulfill a critical need gap within the Indian hospitality marketplace – the need for quality Human Capital.

Our relationship with Lavasa involves the extending of academic support at various levels, such as in the designing of the academic curriculum for the four year programme in hospitality management, infrastructure briefs to develop a new campus, profiling and certifying the faculty by training them as “Qualified Learning Facilitators” and last but not the least, course content supervision and academic audits. These practices are at the very core of Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne’s enduring success and the team at Ecole Hoteliere Lavasa has imbibed the best elements of our pedagogic philosophy.
