FACILITATING LEARNING
Ecole Hoteliere Lavasa education programme is developed and taught by a core faculty of learning facilitators, skilled educators, researchers and leaders who go through a rigorous Qualified Learning Facilitators programme run by Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland.
The faculty members leverage their professional expertise and field-based research to create new knowledge and concepts that shape the practice of hospitality management. They are encouraged to actively practice consultancy within the industry and to lead and also learn from the best industry practices. Continuous learning is a way of life and therefore faculty members attend conferences and seminars regularly. They are also required to contribute articles to magazines and journals as a measure of their own growth.
The result is therefore, a team that is exposed to multiple perspectives that continuously challenge their thinking at many levels. The college is headed by an eminent author of hospitality books, Professor Sudhir Andrews, who will also actively teach the students.
