Ajay Kumar is a graduate from the Institute of Hotel Management, Bangalore, with 13 years of cumulative experience in Hospitality Operations and Education. In operations he developed Front Office systems. He also trained his team members to achieve guest delight. His passion to mould individuals into highly committed, result-oriented hospitality professionals encouraged his move into hospitality academics. Apart from facilitating the learning process in Front Office Operations, Ajay mentors students. He attended the ‘QLF Training Programme’ conducted by Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne. Ajay considers learning as a continuous process, a philosophy which manifested in him taking a two year sabbatical to complete his Masters in Business Administration. He is also a Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) from AH&LA. He is currently planning to pursue his M. Phil. In his spare time, Ajay can be found capturing the beauty of nature through the lenses of his camera.
